The opinions in the guide are those of the writers, and are not in any way meant to glorify or denigrate the city, merely to point out the merits and shortcomings that we think foreign travellers should know about. Although we realise the local name for the city is spelled Prishtina, in this guide we use the official English spelling for the city name, Pristina, as described in article 13 of the Constitution of Kosovo.
