It will be too late now to wish them luck, but I hope you all enjoyed Blackpool, that it brought the results you hoped for and that you enjoy our reports next month in the July issue of Dance Today.

The summer is traditionally a quieter time for dance, but our Reviews section this month is jam-packed – there’s plenty to enjoy, from Marianka Swain’s review of High Society to Zoë Anderson’s coverage of lindy and hip hop fusion at Breakin’ Convention. Speaking of fusions, this edition is full of dancers “crossing over” – from ballroom dancer Katya Virshilas training in lindy hop and Charleston to ballet dancers taking on ballroom styles on page 29.
