So now Cooper is pulling a Nancy Drew and is almost killed when she, along with Kate and Annie, get to close. But once Cooper gets an idea about what's going on, Annie turns up missing and the only way to get her back safely is for Cooper to communicate with Elizabeth again. But Cooper's afraid that she will be overwhelmed again. Will she be able to overcome her fears in time to save Annie? This is my favorite book in the series so far; it gives you enough clues to let you figure out who did it before they tell you.
