The Monografie Aeronautiche Italiane series comprises more than seventy profiles of Italian aircraft types - or foreign aircraft operated in Italian service. Published monthly, each edition deals with a specific aircraft type. An introduction summarises the background development of the type, and this is followed the main text which describes the service life of the aircraft in Italy. The centrespread features a colour 5-view drawing of the featured aircraft type, and this is supported by numerous b+w photographs and occasionally one or two colour photographs. The text is concluded by a technical description and a technical specification.
