Описание: 4+ from the Czech Republic has, over the years, produced a neat line of reference works on a range of subjects from World War Two to the modern day. In the latest “Jet Age Wings Line” volume they have turned to the MiG-19P family. This includes not only the all-weather MiG-19P, PG, PM, and PML but the licensed produced J-6A, J-6B and J-6IV from China. Those familiar with 4+ books will know what to expect, but for those who have never indulged before the make a very useful one-stop reference work for those looking at the finer details of their models. The MiG-19 was the follow-on to the highly successful MiG-15 and MiG-17, with MiG attempting to develop the design into a supersonic combat type. Ultimately less than successful, the MiG-19 still saw widespread service with both the Warsaw Pact and Soviet client states. Development history is covered in the first couple of pages, all in English. The book then goes on to provide detailed plans, in 1/72 scale, colour side profiles of a variety of schemes and extracts from technical manuals to accompany the detailed photographic walk around of a number of preserved airframes.
